A well-run business should have a strategy that encompasses all of the latest technology trends. It may be that you've decided that a particular trend doesn't impact you or that it's too far in the future, but you should revisit these assumptions often.

Sundial

SpatialGB's Sundial provides a template for Sunrise (see below) that shows where each technology trend could (or should) sit within an organisation. This represents where each technology is with regards to general maturity and adoption. Not everyone will agree with the positioning of each technology, but that's ok.

Sunrise

Every business will look different, but we use the Sunrise chart to help set the scene for how each trend sits within your business. Some technologies, such as Cloud (or earlier trends like Web) might be fully adopted within your business, whilst others (like AI) could be in the process of being adopted right now. Others (such as Quantum) might be so far on the horizon that you're simply "watching and waiting".
